  • Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS)

Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) is a Palestinian-led movement for freedom, justice and equality. BDS upholds the simple principle that Palestinians are entitled to the same rights as the rest of humanity.

Israel is occupying and colonising Palestinian land, discriminating against Palestinian citizens of Israel and denying Palestinian refugees the right to return to their homes. Inspired by the South African anti-apartheid movement, the BDS call urges action to pressure Israel to comply with international law.

BDS is now a vibrant global movement. Since its launch in 2005, it has had a major impact and is effectively challenging international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism. Find out more about BDS below.

  • Palestine Solidarity Campaign

Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) is a community of people working together for peace, equality, and justice and against racism, occupation, and colonisation.

It is the biggest organisation in the UK dedicated to securing Palestinian human rights and brings people from all walks of life together to campaign for Palestinian rights and freedom.

Israel’s flouting of international law, continued military occupation of Palestine, and systematic discrimination against Palestinians is unacceptable.

PSC takes on corporations that profit from the occupation, our government that refuses to hold Israel to account, and the media that does not report the truth. PSC is building a mass movement for Palestine in the UK. Find out more about PSC below.

  • Palestine Action

Palestine Action is a direct action focused organisation which refuses to stand by as Britain continues to profit from the oppression of the Palestinian people.

They use a variety of tactics from direct-action to civil disobedience to pressure companies to end their complicity in Israel’s Apartheid regime.

Palestine Action targets companies that are directly complicit in Israel’s ongoing military occupation and colonisation of Palestine and the ethnic cleansing of its people. Their most successful campaign has targeted Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest private arms manufacturer and has resulted in the closure of the company’s HQ in London and an arms factory in Oldham. Find out more about Palestine Action below.

  • Boycott Eurovision

The campaign to boycott Eurovision 2024 is a Palestinian-led demand for broadcasters, competitors, production crews and viewers to boycott the Eurovision song contest following the refusal of the organisers to ban Israel from participating whilst they commit a genocide against the Palestinian people.

Venues and events organisers planning Eurovision screening parties should be urged to cancel any Eurovision-related events and instead hold alternative events about Israel’s pink washing and art washing.

Russia was banned from participating after its invasion of Ukraine; therefore a precedent has already been set. We call on Eurovision to ban genocidal Israel from participating or face widespread boycotts. Find out more about the campaign HERE.

  • Boycott Barclays

Barclays, a UK-based bank, actively enables and profits from Israel’s apartheid regime through their support of arms companies. Barclays holds substantial financial ties with companies arming Israel. The bank invests over £1bn in, and provides financial services worth over £3bn to, companies supplying weapons and military technology to Israel, used in its attacks on Palestinians.

Since July 2022, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign has been campaigning for Barclays to end its financial ties with companies arming Israel, but the bank isn’t listening.

Let’s send Barclays senior management a clear message: complicity in Israeli apartheid has a cost. Close your bank account with Barclays today.

  • Stop Arming Israel

The UK government, banks and financial institutions are all actively complicit in the ongoing genocide in Palestine by approving arms sales to Israel and providing investment and loans to arms companies selling weapons and military technology to Israel.

The UK government continues to approve arms sales to Israel in clear violation of its own export guidelines.

Find out more about War on Want’s Stop Arming Israel campaign HERE: and demand the UK government immediately stop the UK-Israel arms trade and publish any legal advice it has received regarding Israel breaking international law HERE.

  • Show Israel the Red Card

Palestinian football players and fans have called on FIFA to sanction and ban Israel amid its ongoing violent genocide in Gaza. Calls for football’s world governing body to take action against Israel have grown in the past few months, with comparisons being drawn with its quick decision to ban Russia from participating in international football activities when Russia invaded Ukraine nearly two years ago. A precedent has been set: there is no place in sports for genocide perpetrators. Israel has murdered more than 34,000 Palestinians in occupied Gaza, including the Olympic football coach, players, referees and officials, as well as destroying multiple stadiums. Let’s put pressure on FIFA to suspend Israel’s membership while they continue to inflict violence on Palestinians.

Write to FIFA and demand they give Israel the Red Card HERE.
